The hotel offered a fantastic breakfast spread and exceptional views that truly enhanced the stay. However, the jacuzzi was out of order, and the bathroom amenities were underwhelming compared to expectations. Staff were generally helpful, but service consistency could use improvement.

This place was just a proper fit for a brief pit stop in Longyearbyen with fantastic value for money. I found it quite strange to see a stuffed Polar Bear in the lobby, but it was an interesting sight after my days out in the wild. Just be aware of the ethics surrounding decor choices.

I stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved the gorgeous views from the breakfast area and the delicious meals at the pub that were so reasonably priced. The sauna was a fantastic way to unwind, although the jacuzzi needed some maintenance. I definitely would come back again!

missingWrote a review on Aug 20exceptional breakfaststunning viewsunique atmospherehigh laundry cost
The breakfast spread hits the mark with homemade bread and perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. The views from the restaurant are stunning, especially during the summer months when the midnight sun casts a unique glow over the landscape.
The absence of proper blackout curtains in the rooms is a letdown, making sleep during the perpetual daylight challenging. The coffee options need an upgrade, as the breakfast urn doesn't compare to a top-notch espresso machine. Also, for extended stays, the laundry prices feel sky-high. €10 per t-shirt is just over the top for a simple wash.

missingWrote a review on Aug 20friendly staffslow check-in
The location of the hotel is excellent, being just a
short distance from the main attractions in Longyearbyen. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but the check-in process was a bit slow, which was frustrating after a long trip.

Yo, the restaurant at Radisson blew my mind! The pasta was so fresh, I felt like I was dining in Italy rather than the Arctic! Plus, the staff went above and beyond to make my elderly parents comfy during our stay. The breakfast spread hit the spot every morning!
Sure, the price per night is steep due to its remote location at 78ºN, but the experience more than justifies it. And a little tip—tighten those beds together, or you might end up on the floor chasing a midnight sun dream!

The stay was nice overall, with an excellent location near the heart of Longyearbyen. The restaurant served delicious pasta that reminded me of Italy, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of options to kickstart the day. The staff were thoughtful, especially toward my elderly parents, making sure they were comfortable during our time there. We found the beds a bit wobbly at times, which made for some restless nights, but the great food and service made up for that.

I loved the cozy cabin-like atmosphere, which blended stylish Scandinavian decor with warm accents, making it welcoming and comfortable for seniors like me. The common areas were easily accessible and provided stunning views of the mountains.
I wish for better soundproofing in the rooms.

The restaurant's pasta tasted fresh and delightful, almost like dining in Italy!
The beds weren't secured together and tended to separate during the night, making sleep less comfortable.

missingWrote a review on Jul 13outdoor hot tubspacious suitedelicious breakfastlimited pool hours
We loved our spacious suite, and the kids enjoyed the outdoor hot tub with a stunning view of the snowy landscape! The breakfast spread was varied and delicious, making mornings a joy for our family before venturing out on our daily adventures.
My kids wished the pool area had longer hours for families, as the limited access made it hard to enjoy after our daytime excursions.

Great base for Arctic adventures
Had an awesome time at the hotel. The breakfast was a highlight, fresh pastries, all sorts of strong coffee, and the view? Unbelievable.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but worth the price.
